In April 2022, this melody turned into 20 years! Darius had recorded it with his Buddy Claudio in his studio in Korneuburg/Austria. In April 2002 DJ Shaun Baker had a gig on a weekend in the legendary discotheque Fun Factory, in Vienna. The afternoon before he came to Darius‘ studio to produce a song. Darius played him this melody and Shaun then wrote and spoke the famous sentence:

„EXPLODE“ was born and this melody burned itself so incredibly strong into the hearts of ravers & party people around the world, as Darius would never have imagined in life. In addition to the many official (new) versions, since the first release in April 2002, there are also countless bootlegs & mashups on the WWW year after year.
Darius & Finlay achieved another huge success in January 2022 with this melody. They mixed „Explode“ with Martin Bepunkt’s vocals „Mein kleines Herz (Bam Bam)“. Within a few weeks, this Mash-Up went massively viral on Tik Tok with over 80.000 video creations and millions of views! Meanwhile, the song reached over 40 million+ streams just on Spotify and 6 million+ views on youtube.
